Thread adapter

into pilot of base

Secure with socket

measurement all

the way around

10. Slide the upper collar over the end of the specimen and let it

rest on the lower collar.

11. Thread the adapter onto the specimen until approximately 3

threads are showing on the opposite end.

WARNING

Failure to zero dc error will result in sudden actuator

movement.

This can cause injury to personnel and/or damage to

equipment.

Do not apply system hydraulic pressure with other than zero dc error

(command = feedback).
