Start/Stop and Hold/Resume Behavior Settings
In general, these settings define the command behavior when you click the Run, Hold, and Stop buttons
on the Test Control panel.
Settings include:
• Stay at Level
• Ramp to Mean
• Ramp to Zero
• Taper to Mean
• Taper to Zero
• Complete Current Cycle
Overrides and exceptions
The application may override these settings when performing specific types of test activities.
• The Time History Output and Time History Sequence activities automatically taper to zero when
you hold or stop a test, regardless of the command setting.
• The Complete Current Cycle setting pertains to Cycle, Cycle + DAQ, Custom Waveform, and Custom
Waveform + DAQ activities. If you choose this setting for other types of activities (for which cycle is
not meaningful), the application maintains the current level.
